This website and application (“Platform”) is owned and operated by:

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Platform and any services provided by Check My Diary Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

2. Nature of the Service

Check My Diary is an online directory and booking platform that connects customers with independent service providers (“Service Providers”).

We do not provide the services listed on the Platform and are not a party to any contract formed between a customer and a Service Provider.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Platform.

Service Providers confirm that they:

  • Are legally entitled to offer their services in the UK

  • Hold all necessary licences, insurances and permissions (including public liability insurance and DBS checks where applicable)

  • Hold a valid UTR number issued by HMRC

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or applicable law.

5. Subscriptions & Payments (Service Providers)

  • Subscription prices are displayed on the Platform and may be amended from time to time.

  • Fees are charged monthly in advance to your selected payment method.

  • All prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the end of the billing period.

No refunds are provided for part-used subscription periods.

6. Our Role & Disclaimer of Responsibility

Check My Diary Ltd:

  • Does not verify the quality of services provided

  • Does not guarantee availability, performance or outcomes

  • Accepts no responsibility for the acts, omissions or workmanship of Service Providers

Customers engage Service Providers entirely at their own risk.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, software and materials on the Platform are owned by or licensed to Check My Diary Ltd.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or exploit any content without our written consent.

By uploading content, you confirm you own the rights to it and grant us a licence to display and use it on the Platform.

8. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform immediately if you breach these Terms, misuse the Platform, or act unlawfully.

You may cancel your account at any time, but paid subscriptions remain active until the end of the current billing period.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Check My Diary Ltd against all claims, losses and expenses arising from your use of the Platform or breach of these Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.

Subject to this, we shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Loss of profit, data, reputation or business

  • Issues arising from third-party services or Service Providers

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you to us in the preceding 12 months.

11. Changes to Services & Terms

We may update the Platform or these Terms at any time.
Material changes will be notified. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

12. Marketing Communications

You may receive service and marketing communications from us.
You may opt out of marketing at any time.

13. Data Protection

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
